Valeze (www.valeze.net & www.myspace.com/valeze) is a Brooklyn band with what I like to call a polished new-wave pop rock sound, playing at Pianos on Thursday, May 18.

What a cool set of pipes coming out of Land of Talk from Montreal (www.myspace.com/landoftalkmtl), playing at Mercury Lounge on Friday, May 19.

Levy's playing at the Delancey on Saturday, May 20, just before Soft (check out show 6), who I just learned is playing this show before a set of shows in Japan, where they just hit #14.  But get there to see Levy (www.levytheband.com & www.myspace.com/levy).  They are not to be missed.
